Citroen launches new C5 Aircross SUV
Citroen is marking their re-introduction to the local market with its flagship C5 Aircross SUV as part of the brand's international SUV offensive. The new kid on the block features unique design and a more robust look with larger wheels and a raised ground clearance as part of its look.
Further enhancements
Its styling is further enhanced with the presence of split headlights, a widescreen grille as well as its A, B and C pillars covered in black to give it somewhat of a wider and sleeker appearance
A unique personality
There is also plenty of additional storage space with its central armrest, glove compartment and wide door pockets. The interior is further enhanced with two ambiances that come with matching colours and materials.
It also packs a punch on the technological and safety front with a host of systems and features like Driver Attention Assist, Active Blind Spot Monitoring and Hill Start Assist available to the driver.
A 12.3-inch digital instrument panel behind the steering wheel is the first thing that catches the eye from the driver's seat while an 8-inch touchscreen on the dashboard takes care of the infotainment functions. Its Shine model includes a large storage area equipped for wireless smartphone charging.
It is available in three body colours - Arctic Steel, Pearlescent White and Platinum Grey, while there is also an additional red pack option.
There is a reason the C5 is the most comfortable model in its segment and that is down to its Advanced Comfort programme. Its suspension with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions and Advanced Comfort seats, offer passengers a smooth and peerless drive.
On the performance front, the C5 is powered by an efficient and high-performance 1.6 THP 121kW petrol engine coupled to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
It comes standard with a 5-year/100 000km warranty & service plan across the range with Citroen Serenity. Customers can have their car serviced at any accredited Peugeot dealership.
