Sifiso ‘Skizo’ Nhlapo was born in Soweto, Johannesburg.
Three South African championship titles cemented his reputation as one of the best BMX bikers out there, and a second place in last year’s Elite Men 20-inch World Championships and third place in the Worlds, also in 2008, have taken him to a global level, this result also winning him a wildcard entry as South Africa’s only BMX representative in the Beijing Olympics.
Unfortunately, a serious crash has kept Skizo out of action just lately, but he is recovering well at home in Gauteng and should be back on the bike soon.
